Permanent exhibition

The exhibition traces the history of the Acadians, from the Great Upheaval to their settlement in Quebec. It highlights the importance and unique characteristics of this heritage through themes such as genealogy, architecture, toponymy, and more!

Drave dédrave – Restoring Balance

Temporary exhibition

For more than a century, log driving shaped Quebec’s forestry history and transformed its rivers. Although this practice came to an end in 1995, its traces are still visible today. The exhibition presents “dédrave,” an ecological restoration process aimed at removing the remnants left in waterways and restoring the balance of natural environments.
