CALL FOR TENDERS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION AND MAINTENANCE

FROM AN ACADIAN RALLY

Saint-Jacques, October 10, 2023 – The Coalition des organisations acadiennes du Québec is asking its members for help in finding an organization that would like to organize a new edition of the Acadian rally in Quebec. Initially planned to take place every four years, the last edition was scheduled for 2020, but the pandemic put a stop to the planned event.

Joyful celebrations
The Acadian Rally of Quebec is a unifying event that usually lasts three days. Its purpose is to bring together Acadians from Quebec, as well as those from the Atlantic provinces and anyone who holds Acadia dear to their hearts. A wide range of activities are usually offered during the event. The main idea behind the rally is to celebrate the history and culture of Acadian Quebec through conferences, shows, and various activities. Good cheer and warm encounters are always part of the event.

Organizer wanted
The selected organization will be responsible for all event logistics, programming, and promotion. It is also possible to establish partnerships with other members in the same region. The Coalition supports the event by providing promotional assistance and a financial contribution. Any interested organization or municipality must send a letter of interest to the COAQ. The year and dates of the event will be discussed with the selected organization.
