Call for projects and exhibitions

The Acadian Museum of Quebec's main mission is to raise awareness of the Acadian heritage in Quebec. At the same time, the museum is rooted in the cultural reality of the region, organizing temporary exhibitions that showcase a world of diversity and highlight many talents.

We invite visual artists to submit their proposals to us. We consider the following to be visual arts: photography, painting, drawing, collage, lithography, engraving, pottery, sculpture, etc.

Your proposal must include:

  • A provisional title for the exhibition;
  • A description of the exhibition project (maximum 250 words);
  • Your resume (maximum 3 pages);
  • A press kit;
  • A maximum of 20 numbered photographs or digital images
    (JPG files not exceeding 1 MB or 1024 x 768 pixels)
  • A detailed list of your images or videos;
  • In the case of a video, the duration must not exceed 5 minutes.

The visual presentation quality of the portfolio will be taken into account, and we will give priority to artists residing in or originating from the Gaspé Peninsula.
