HAIRDRESSERS IN BONAVENTURE!

August 15, 2022, at 8 p.m., at the Musée acadien du Québec.

The Musée acadien du Québec, in collaboration with the City of Bonaventure, invites you to celebrate Acadia with the band Salebarbes on August 15! The show will be held under a big top on the grounds of the Musée acadien du Québec. 

A few guidelines for the evening of the show: 

• General admission, no assigned seating.

• On-site bar service (cash only).

• Your proof of purchase is required to enter the marquee (QR code on electronic or printed ticket).

• The doors to the marquee will open at 7:30 p.m. The show lasts 90 minutes and will begin at 8:00 p.m.

• The health measures in effect at the time of the show must be observed.

ABOUT SALEBARBES:
Salebarbes, the new project from Éloi and Jonathan Painchaud, Kevin McIntyre, George Belliveau, and Jean-François Breau, harnesses the raw, festive energy of the Cajun repertoire, with a dose of humor tinged with hope. The hope of restoring a little pride and a taste for celebrating in French.

A kind of cultural reappropriation. A reverse deportation.

There is a sense of urgency to sing, in unison if necessary, about this moment that is slipping away.

Our culture that barely remembers.

The journey of our language, a vessel rocking like a bottle thrown into the sea, carrying a single message:
"We are not dead!!!"
