Value of the item

This photograph shows an Acadian woman from Bonaventure. She is
Marthe Arsenault (1842-1928), daughter of Eusèbe Arsenault and Sophie Arbour.
She married Lévis Poirier (son of Charles and Louise Cavanagh) on January 12, 1863. Not to be confused with Marie-Marthe Arsenault (married to Alexis Poirier; the Museum also has her portrait).
