AU MUSÉE ACADIEN DU QUÉBEC !

Le Musée acadien du Québec (MAQ) et la ville de Bonaventure vous invitent aux festivités de la fête nationale de l’Acadie ! Une programmation pour toute la famille aura lieu le lundi 15 août, sur le site extérieur du MAQ. Célébrons en grand et avec fierté la culture acadienne !

PROGRAMMATION 

10 a.m. 
Renardo has stage fright and Crazy Characters
Free puppet show 

11:30 a.m.  
Hot dog sale
Proceeds benefit Athlétix (Bonaventure athletics club).

12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Face painting and balloon entertainment

1:30 p.m. 
Noise parade
Departure of the traditional tintamarre at the Bonaventure Point Lighthouse. Bring whatever you need to make noise! 

2 p.m. 
LA PATENTE
Free musical performance on the museum terrace.  

8 p.m. 
SALEBARBES (SOLD OUT)
Musical show under the big top.

In 1881, August 15 was chosen as the Acadian National Day.
Since then, the Acadian people have gathered every year to proudly celebrate their language, culture, and history. Bonaventure, a village founded in 1760 by Acadians who fled deportation, is part of this tradition!
