Christmas celebrations in Bonaventure!
The teams at the Musée acadien du Québec, the Francoise-Bujold library, and the city of Bonaventure are delighted to have come together to put together a special holiday program of activities for you!ALL ACTIVITIES ARE FREE!
COVID information:
All indoor activities (Gospel Chapel) require masks to be worn at all times and valid proof of vaccination to be presented.




Saturday, November 27
Christmas tree lighting from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Festive atmosphere on site with music, free maple taffy on snow with Jonathan Labrosse's mobile maple syrup stand from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Le Noël des animaux (25 minutes) show by TPM in the Gospel at 7 p.m., and hot chocolate service. Come celebrate the start of the holiday season!
Fridays, December 3, 10, and 17
The museum will be open especially for this event, with free admission from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Jonathan Labrosse Mobile Maple Syrup Farm (paid service)
December 4, 10, and 17 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Maple syrup on snow – maple churros – spruce beer (non-alcoholic) – maple products: syrup, butter, and cones.
Saturday, December 4
Screening of the film "Arthur Christmas" in the Gospel Chapel at 4 p.m.
Jonathan Labrosse mobile maple syrup house from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. (paid service).
Synopsis: On the night of December 24 to 25, Santa Claus and his elves delivered all the presents to sleeping children. However, one gift was forgotten! Santa's youngest son must complete an urgent and very important mission before sunrise.
Friday, December 10
Traditional music show in the Gospel Chapel with Pierre-André Bujold and Jérôme Cyr starting at 7 p.m. This duo will treat us to violin tunes and sing-alongs, and even lead us in a series oftraditionaldances!Jonathan Labrosse mobile maple syrup tap from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. (paid service).
Saturday, December 11
Large sale of used books in the Gospel Chapel, between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Proceeds will go toward renovating the youth section of the library.
Friday, December 17
Story time, presented by the Françoise-Bujold Library, will be held outdoors for a special event starting at 6:30 p.m. Come warm up around a fire and enjoy a delicious hot chocolate with Sylvie Bélanger, who will read Le lutin trop petit (The Too -Small Elf) to children ages 3 to 8. The story will be followed by a craft activity. In case of bad weather, the activity will be held in the Gospel Chapel. Jonathan Labrosse mobile maple syrup operation from 3 to 8 p.m. (paid service).
Sunday, December 19 – At Bonaventure Church from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Christmas carols performed by the choir Les voix de l’amitié at 4 p.m. , followed by a presentation of“Bonaventure en miniature”with artisan Marcel Arsenault. Come rediscover the church in a festive holiday atmosphere!
