Value of the item
The photograph shows an Acadian woman from Bonaventure. Marcelline Forest (1870–1955) was the daughter of Alexis Forest and Mary-Anne Cyr. On January 27, 1891, she married Charles Bujold, son of Mathias and Edwidge Fortin. She was the sister of Denyse Forest, whose portrait is also in the Museum's collection.
