This item bears witness to the life of a person of Acadian origin from Bonaventure. Agnès St-Onge (1875-1962) married Maurice Leblanc on February 26, 1900. The portrait is paired with portrait 1980.F.73.A, which is a portrait of her husband Maurice Leblanc. On the back of the portrait, we can read that Agnès is the daughter of Nicodème Saint-Onge and a woman named Joséphine Johnson.
