The Acadian Museum of Quebec is hiring for the summer season

Bonaventure, February 9, 2026 — The Musée acadien du Québec is pleased to announce that it is hiring for the upcoming summer season.

Every summer, the museum welcomes visitors from all over and offers a rich cultural experience rooted in Acadian history, heritage, and creativity. For the upcoming season, we have two positions available on our team.

We are looking for dynamic, curious individuals who are passionate about working with the public to fill the positions of mediator-guide and customer service representative. These jobs offer a unique opportunity to work in a friendly, stimulating, and cultural environment, while enjoying daytime hours during the summer.

The position of mediator-guide allows you to immerse yourself in the exhibitions by leading workshops and accompanying visitors as they discover Acadian culture. This versatile role also includes mediation, ticketing, and sales tasks, as well as participation in the organization of the Acadian Festival, a flagship event celebrating Acadian National Day.

The position of customer service attendant is primarily based at the Évangéline boutique, a showcase for local crafts, products, and artwork. The incumbent plays a key role in welcoming visitors and helping to provide a warm and memorable experience.

Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. To apply, send your resume by email to Ms. Catherine Haché at: [email protected]. Only those selected for an interview will be contacted.

The Acadian Museum of Quebec is committed to a policy of employment equality for women, visible and ethnic minorities, Indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities.
