Science Bar – How to live in a century-old house?
The Acadian Museum of Quebec (MAQ) invites you to its first event Science Bar on the theme of ancestral homes. The event will take place on Friday, April 29, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the MAQ.
A Science Bar is a festive and relaxed gathering that allows participants to discuss and share their thoughts on a given topic. For this occasion, the MAQ invites anyone interested in ancestral homes to attend. How can these homes be lived in? What can you expect when you become the owner of an ancestral home?
Do you live in an ancestral home?
Do you dream of owning one someday?
Do you have any memories connected to an ancestral home?
Did you find any surprising things within the walls of your house during your last renovations?
We offer you a short tour inside Madame Rose's house.
This century-old house, built around 1890 on Route Henry in Bonaventure, is featured in the second series of Maisons Mémoire, a series of exhibitions created directly at the Musée acadien du Québec!
